What is search engine Pay per Click (PPC)?
Search Engine Pay per click (PPC) is a search engine marketing technique where advertisers only pay when a user actually clicks on a displayed ad to visit the advertiser´s website. These ads are called a “Sponsored link” or “sponsored ads” and appear next to, and sometimes, above the natural or organic results on search engine results pages, or anywhere a webmaster/blogger chooses on a content page within the search engine´s advertiser network.
It means you have to bid for certain type of keyword searches that will determine your ads display positioning among other advertisers. The higher your bid the better chances you beat other´s ads campaign. But also means higher cost of advertising budget. The cost is based on the amount of clicks have been through to your website from the displayed ad.
